Measuring principle
The liquid level of the liquid is measured by a short radar pulse that is emitted from the antenna at the top of the tank to the liquid.
When the radar pulse reaches a medium with a different dielectric constant, part of the energy is reflected back to the transmitter. The time difference between the transmitted pulse and the reflected pulse is converted into a distance, from which the liquid level is calculated.
